The Epiphone Prophecy SG blends the iconic SG™ style with cutting-edge performance features, making it the perfect instrument for today’s modern guitarists. Its mahogany body is enhanced with a ¾" maple cap and a stunning AAA flame maple veneer on the Red Tiger Aged Gloss finish.
The SlimTaper™ asymmetrical mahogany neck features a 24-fret ebony fingerboard with jumbo frets and elegant Block and Triangle pearloid/abalone inlays, carefully matched to complement each finish. Premium touches include Grover® Locking Rotomatic® tuners, a Graph Tech® NuBone® nut, and brushed nickel hardware throughout.
At its core are two Fishman Fluence® humbuckers offering three distinct voicings, selectable via push/pull volume and tone controls:
High-gain, modern active humbucker (both controls pushed in)
Classic “Patent Applied For”-style tone (tone control pulled out)
Bright, articulate single-coil sound (volume control pulled out)
